Find The Right Seat To Protect Your Child
LEARN MOREWe’re excited to announce that our Teen Safe Driving television campaign has won two #Telly Awards!
The spot features a mother and teen daughter discussing important safety features and smart driving habits.
A major focus of NCAST is promoting awareness of safety issues specific to younger motorists.
Teen drivers are especially at risk on the roads, with vehicle crashes the leading cause of death in America among those under 21.
The inexperience and impulsiveness of teen drivers is a significant reason for their high crash rates, making important the safety features of the vehicles they drive as well as getting plenty of supervised driving practice.
Our Mission
SPOTLIGHT:
CHILD CAR SEAT SAFETY
Car crashes are a leading cause of death among children. On average, two children under 13 were killed and an estimated 374 were injured every day in 2019 while riding in cars, SUVs, pickups, and vans. Child Passenger Safety Week is this September 17-23, 2023 and it highlights the importance of selecting the appropriate type of seat for your child whatever age they may be. Saturday, September 23, 2023 is also National Seat Check Saturday. Take a little time to check to look over the information on NHTSA.gov/TheRightSeat. and be sure your family’s safety and booster seats still match the height and weight restrictions for your kids
